On a glorious sunny day at Mid Sussex golf course Buxted FC held its annual Golf competition.  Although turnout was below par, some of the performances were dazzling with Dan Chaplin stealing the plaudits and trophy with a very tidy 39 stableford points. Local course knowledge was clearly an advantage as Dan is a green keeper at the course, as was one of his playing partners Steve Wilcox who came in joint second with Dean Morris with 31 points.

Tim Burchett came in with the lowest gross score of the day, but handicaps as they were this was not enough to make third, this was taken by Nigel Fox.  Andy Matthews settled for sixth spot after a heavy night out before off the back of a great win for the 2nds.  As for  Noodles and Cheech the day was fraught with hazards but despite being off their game both seemed to enjoy the day.(And the post match beers!)
